We think they are wonder-full and we love giving them an opportunity to smile, laugh, and explore.
Wonder Connection has been kind of an experiment from the start. When Katie started it in 2006, no one else was doing this kind of work. We've been figuring out the best and safest and most FUN ways to bring science and nature to kids in the hospital for 13 years. And we're still learning. But we want to stop for a minute and celebrate the work we've done, the 13,000+ kids/teens we've worked with, and also our recent big transition!
Your support brings smiles to kids and teens hospitalized at UNC Hospitals and to the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill. Did you know that 99% of our funding comes from grants and donors like you (less than 1% of our funding comes from the hospital)? Your donation is fully tax deductible.

And if we make it that far, we will gladly accept gifts over our goal! Every little bit goes towards making the kids at the hospital smile!
